Join Your Provincial FamilyNet
When you create a FamilyNet account, you sign up through your province’s FamilyNet site, such as bc.familynet.ca, ab.familynet.ca, or on.familynet.ca.
Currently, each provincial FamilyNet instance operates independently, following the same privacy-first standards and family-friendly values.
The platform is designed on a national foundation, allowing for future cross-province and Canada-wide community features — introduced only after they are proven and ready.
One Family Pack — Unlimited Togetherness
Every family starts with a Family Pack, which includes multiple linked member accounts under one annual subscription.
You can invite family members from anywhere in the world — parents, grandparents, children, or relatives abroad — to log in to your provincial FamilyNet community.
If your family grows or you’d like to include more members, you can easily expand by purchasing add-on packs, with no limits on size.
Create and Join Communities
Whether you’re starting a soccer club, parent group, or classroom space, FamilyNet gives you the tools to connect securely with others in your region while keeping full control over who can join and participate.
Every FamilyNet member can create or join private, public, or by-invitation communities within their provincial FamilyNet server.
These communities bring together people with shared interests — from schools, sports teams, associations, or hobbies — all within the same safe, family-friendly environment.
Supporting Schools, One Family at a Time
When you sign up, you can select a FamilyNet school partner for directing fundraising payouts to. Each year, a contribution from every Family Pack goes directly to that school — automatically.
It’s a simple, ongoing way for families to support education while staying safely connected online.
