What is FamilyNet and who can join?
FamilyNet is a private social network for families to connect, chat, share, and build trusted communities in a safer online environment.
FamilyNet is available through participating schools and trusted family-focused organizations. Families use a School or Partner ID to sign up.

This model helps keep communities verified, trusted, and local. It also allows participating schools to receive ongoing fundraising support through memberships.

Is FamilyNet affordable?
FamilyNet is designed to be affordable for members.
When spread across a Family Pack, the cost works out to about 26 cents per month for each member, while each membership also supports a participating school through an annual contribution built into the subscription.

What is a Family Pack?
A Family Pack is one family membership that allows multiple household members to be connected under a single subscription.
How many people can be included in a Family Pack?
Your plan includes a set number of family members, and you can manage or reassign those member accounts at any time.
Can we change the school associated with our account?
Yes. You may update your school or partner connection if needed.
Are memberships refundable?
FamilyNet includes a 7-day free trial so families can evaluate the service before subscribing. For this reason, memberships are generally non-refundable once billing and payouts have been processed, except in cases of billing error.
Privacy & Safety
Do schools have access to family accounts or private activity?
No. Schools are connected only for fundraising purposes. They do not have access to family accounts, messages, posts, or private activity.
How is FamilyNet different from mainstream social networks?
FamilyNet has no ads, no tracking, no algorithms, and no data selling. It is designed for privacy, safety, and trusted connections.
Can bots or fake accounts operate on FamilyNet?
FamilyNet is designed to minimize this risk from the ground up.
Access is limited to verified members connected through schools and trusted family-focused organizations, which significantly reduces anonymous or automated signups.
The platform is structured to support real people interacting within trusted communities, not open networks where bots typically thrive.
Is our information ever sold or shared?
No. FamilyNet does not sell, share, or use member information for advertising or tracking.

How does the school fundraising contribution work?
Each active family membership generates an annual contribution to the participating school, including renewals for the life of the account. It is built into the membership and requires no fundraising campaigns or sales.
